Positions report to:
Senior Technical Support Engineer
Salary: DOE
Reports to: Director of Engineering
Role Profile: Customer oriented, outgoing, hands on, multi–disciplined (electrical, hydraulic and mechanical) technically competent person. Strong troubleshooting and training skills. Ability to be diplomatic and present company well despite facing technical problems. Excellent presentation skills for technical training.
Principle Responsibility: Provide technical support to dealers, installers, and end users for all HySecurity products. Be the leading edge to proactively recognize report and define product issues.
Summary: The principal role of the Technical Support Engineer is to provide technical phone support to the field, recognize and report problems, document service issues, generate trend metrics, provide training on HySecurity equipment, and develop technical documentation and training materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.
- Provide technical phone support for installers and end users, advising them of proper techniques for troubleshooting and maintenance. Assist with identification of correct service parts to correct problems. Enter job ticket information into SalesLogix system. Coordinate and authorize RMA’s and warranty claims.
- Provide technical training, both onsite and at select remote locations to ensure dealers, distributors, installers, and end users are capable of servicing HySecurity equipment.
- Travel to trouble sites to assess situation relative to warranty claims, identifying potential engineering problems, and identifying installation errors.
- Assist Sales in application engineering to ensure that HySecurity products are correctly specified for the intended use.
- Provide input for and prepare technical documentation, including tech bulletins, installation instructions, parts illustrations, and operation and service manuals.
- Create new training program materials, including Power Point presentations or videos.
- Generate reports to show service trends, unreported issues and frequency of occurrence.
Essential Computer Skills:
MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, SalesLogix, MAS90, AutoCAD a plus.
Education and/or Experience:
- A bachelors degree in a technical discipline (EE, ME, EET, etc) plus 3-5 years experience in a technical service role. A combination of education and experience that enables the essential duties to be carried out will be considered.
- Experienced delivering significant technical presentations and in the creation of PowerPoint presentations and other teaching aides.

Education Required: HS + Experience/AA
Salary: $13 - $18 per hour
Reports to: Production Manager
Candidate Profile: Must have 3-5 years production assembly experience in
a lean manufacturing environment that utilizes a documented quality
program. Quick-learning, organized, detail-oriented, quality minded
individual to assemble the best gate operators in the world. Duties
include Mechanical and/or electronic assembly of assemblies or
sub-assemblies.

- Excellent communication skills (especially English)
