The first two days of HySecurity's Regional Tech Training covered HySecurity’s premium line of gate operators, focusing on their underlying technologies and the Smart Touch framework – Smart Touch software and Smart Touch Controller hardware. Course material included a combination of classroom lectures and hands-on instruction with the Smart Touch Controller, and Smart DC gate operators. Other topics included Loop Design and Detectors, Gate Safety, Hydraulics, Dual Gate Systems, and installation and setup for the SlideDriver, SlideSmart DC, SwingSmart DC and StrongArmPark DC gate operators.
The third day of training was the factory authorized installation training for the HySecurity StrongArm M30 and M50 Anti-Ram Crash Barriers. Classroom presentations along with hands-on sessions for the foundation layout and the upper/lower arm installation, setting the limits and other configuration settings completed the final day of the Regional Tech Training.
The attendees ranged from distributors, dealers, installers, and end-users traveling from as far away as Edmonton AB, Canada and with a broad diversity in experience in the gate operator industry. The Regional Training was jointly hosted by HySecurity and its partners in Distribution – Electronic Entry Distributors, Jamieson Fence Supply, and Southwest Automated Security – thank you very much for their support!
HySecurity employees who either attended and/or instructed included Michael Landino, Sara Grim, Mike Anderson, Brad Richards, Daniel Butler and not wanting to miss out on the fun, even Brian DeNault (HySecurity owner/President) showed up to teach his Smart Touch and Loop Design classes.
Thank you to all who attended and got involved and made the RTTS a successful HySecurity training event. The next Regional Tech Training is scheduled for October 6 – 8, 2015 in Ontario, California with web registration available in August 2015.
